You can find out more about each conference on their information page.

For attendees:

What's the age limit?
The conference is open to those in high school, or who have chosen alternatives for year 11, 12 or 13. If this doesn’t apply to you consider volunteering which will allow you to experience the day, plus be a part of an interesting team and learn new skills. Email your local organising committee to find out more, or sign up on their information page.

Do I have to be from the city the event is held in?
No, you can be from anywhere around New Zealand. Consider pairing up with others from your school or area to make the travel easier.

Does it cost?
Yes, but we've worked hard to keep costs as low as possible. The early-bird ticket price for two days $20, the regular ticket price is $30. This includes all food and everything else you'll need for the weekend!

What if I can't afford to come?
Try talking to your school who might have funds allocated for leadership development. You could also ask local boards or organisations if they might sponsor you. We have scholarships available to students who can’t afford the ticket price or have to travel from out of town to get to the conference. Find out more on your local conference's information page.

What do I wear?
Wear whatever makes you comfortable, this isn't a formal event. There will be photographers at the event in case you are in need of a new DP!

Is there food?
Yes, full catering is included in the ticket price. Please remember to tell us about any dietary requirements when you’re registering.

Do I have to find my own accommodation for the weekend?
Yes, consider coming with a group of students if you're coming from out of town.

What if I have no leadership experience or knowledge about climate change?
That’s fine, we will have a range of students, all with different levels of understanding and skill levels. We’re making sure our program is inclusive of everyone and the conference will be a great experience for any skill or understanding level.

For others:

Can I volunteer?

Please email your local organising committee if you want to support the next generation of change makers. You can find their details here: XXX
