It’s that time of year again! The Climate Challenge is looking for young people to be a part of our 2019/2020 committees. You’ll get the chance to do something incredibly meaningful for youth in your community while developing your leadership, teamwork and event management skills, as well as receive mentorship.
We are looking for young people age 13-22 to be a part of Local Committees in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. They will be responsible for the planning and organisation of their conference. Local Committee members must be living in or close to the city they are applying for from late 2019 to 2020. In line with our Leadership for All philosophy, past leadership experience is not required for every roles. We are looking for young people age 16-24 to be part of National Committees, these members can be based anywhere in Aotearoa. They are responsible for oversight of the organisation, strategic decision making and supporting the Climate Challenge conference and education programs through their roles.
